Small Groups are integral to all that we do at Faith City. As our church grows larger on Sunday, we grow smaller during the week. Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God and make a difference. We encourage everyone to be involved in a Growth Group on a weekly basis, and to participate and invite your friends to Play Groups that you are interested in.
Growth Groups are the heart of Faith City...
Growth Groups are the key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually here at Faith City.
Our purpose for Growth Groups is to provide a safe, social place to meet new people, make friends, grow in faith, and have fun.
It is our goal to see everybody that attends Faith City involved in a Growth Group. Some of our groups are sermon-based; some are special interest groups focusing on topics, such as, parenting, marriage, recovery and Christian basics for new believers.
Our Growth Groups require a 10-12 week commitment, and are comprised of 15-20 people. They meet weekly to share, to study God's word and to support one another spiritually. All groups meet for approximately 75-90 minutes, unless otherwise stated.
Groups meet three semesters during each year. Each group is 10-12 weeks per semester. We offer Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters. We take a break during the summer months.
Play Groups
Most of us spend too much time working, studying and fighting traffic - and not enough time playing. Whether it's watching a movie, going to the park, playing sports or going bowling. Play Groups are an easy way to check out Faith City, meet new people, and just have a good time.
